Aira To Open EUR 300M Heat Pump Factory in Poland

Poland/Sweden: Swedish heat pump group Aira is set to inaugurate its first factory, a EUR 300 million (USD 320.9 million) facility in Poland. The plant aims for a full capacity of 500,000 units annually, driven by the rising European demand for heat pumps.

This demand surge follows the European Union's target to deploy 30 million heat pumps this decade, reducing reliance on imported fossil fuels after the 2022 energy crisis spurred by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
