AC Makers in India Hike Prices By 3-5%

India: AC Makers in India hike prices by 3-5%, this includes the likes of Mitsubishi, Lloyd, and Voltas Ltd. This increase, driven by peak summer demand which has led to low inventory levels and also a 50% rise in secondary level AC demand. Havells India, with significant revenue from RACs, expects healthy volume growth despite the higher base, predicting a 120% YoY revenue increase in Q1FY24. Voltas anticipates a robust volume growth with a 16.3% YoY sales increase in Q1FY24, while Blue Star forecasts strong volume growth on a moderate base, with a 6.3% YoY rise in Q1FY24.
