A £7,500 Government Incentive is Available to Boiler Owners

UK: Homeowners in the United Kingdom have been informed that a grant program for heat pumps that is worth 172 million pounds goes unclaimed. Despite the fact that the Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides homeowners with a subsidy of £7,500 to help cover the cost of installing a heat pump, many of them are not taking advantage of this opportunity.

Despite having a total of £300 million available, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, which was established two years ago, has only distributed subsidies totaling £127 million. Over the course of the 23 months leading up to March, the funds were distributed to 22,307 homes, according to a spokesperson for Ofgem.
