Xiaomi Air Conditioners Exceed 8.5 Million Units Shipped in 2025

CHINA: In 2025, Xiaomi reached a significant milestone, recording its highest-ever revenue in the smart large home appliances segment. The company posted a 23.1% year-on-year growth, supported by strong demand for air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines. Air conditioner shipments exceeded 8.5 million units, marking a 24% annual increase. Refrigerator shipments surpassed 2.8 million units (up 4%), while washing machine shipments crossed 2.3 million units (up 18%), with all three categories achieving record levels. Among these, air conditioners stood out as the top-performing segment. Xiaomi broadened its portfolio from basic wall-mounted units to advanced multi-split central systems, gaining an edge through competitive pricing, advanced smart features, and improved service capabilities.
A key differentiator is its integration with HyperOS Connect and the Mijia ecosystem, enabling users to control appliances via smartphones or XiaoAI voice assistants, while also supporting automation through temperature and humidity sensors. High-end models further incorporate millimeter-wave radar technology to detect human presence and automatically adjust airflow for enhanced comfort.
