Wilcon’s Earnings Down by 23% due to Easter Holidays

Philippines: The home renovation store Wilcon Depot Inc. had a 23.1% decline in first-quarter earnings to P740 million (US$ 12.82 million) because of lower sales caused by the earlier Easter holidays. Due to low March sales and a higher base, the company said that net sales decreased by 2.5 percent to P8.31 billion (US$144.02 million) during the quarter.
