Voltas expands its portfolio with the launch of Water Heaters in India

With the launch of the Voltas Water Heaters, Voltas announced its entry into the water heater market. The product line will be accessible nationwide beginning in October 2023. The products can also be found on other internet platforms. With this growth, Voltas enters the water heater business and advances its goal of being a one-stop shop for all household appliance solutions.With a yearly demand of almost 5 million units, water heaters are a booming sector in the Indian market. With a selling window of over ten months per year, the segment has consistently grown by 10–12% annually. Water heater sales have been primarily influenced by electrical segments in terms of distribution channels, with white goods retail outlets, hardware stores, and sanitary ware coming in close second. In addition to its vast distribution and retail network, Voltas hopes to grow its sub-dealer base for the aftermarket business and penetrate the electrical channel with the launch of water heaters.
