Villeroy & Boch Surpasses EUR 1 billion (USD 1.08 billion) in Revenue for 2024
Germany: In the first nine months of the 2024 financial year, the Villeroy & Boch Group reported total revenue of EUR 1,007.8 million (USD 1090.18 million), surpassing the EUR 1 billion (USD 1.08 billion) mark for the first time. This represents an increase of EUR 357.2 million (USD 386.2 million) or 54.9% compared to the same period last year, largely due to the acquisition of Ideal Standard, which contributed EUR 364.6 million (USD 364.6 million) to the Group's revenue since 1 March 2024.
The Bathroom & Wellness Division saw significant growth, generating EUR 799.5 million (USD 864.84 million), marking an 83.5% increase over the previous year, also supported by acquisitions. Despite ongoing challenges in the construction sector, revenue levels from the prior year were maintained when adjusted for acquisitions, with notable growth in the sanitary ceramics and fittings segments. Operating profit (EBIT) for the division reached EUR 52.3 million (USD 56.58 million), a 14.4% increase over the previous year.
