Villeroy & Boch Reports First-Half 2025 Revenue Growth

UK: Villeroy & Boch reported a 12.1 percent increase in revenue for the first half of 2025, reaching EUR 725.8 million, driven by its acquisition of Ideal Standard and a stronger focus on international markets, particularly within the EMEA region and the fittings segment. The Group’s operating result (EBIT) rose 3.2 percent year-on-year to EUR 47.8 million, supported by an improved non-operating result. As part of its strategic repositioning, the company sold its Gustavsberg and Vatette brands to Finnish manufacturer Oras Group and continued to invest in production capabilities, especially in the fittings segment. The Bathroom & Wellness division achieved revenue of EUR 594.0 million, a 15.7 percent increase, with operating EBIT rising 3.6 percent to EUR 47.0 million, reflecting growth in the fittings business and the EMEA region.

The Dining & Lifestyle division recorded revenue of EUR 130.4 million, slightly below the previous year due to extraordinary licence income in 2024, but adjusted revenue showed a 0.8 percent increase. Project business for premium hotels and restaurants grew 23.5 percent, while stationary retail partners increased by 9.6 percent, with EBIT stable at EUR 4.8 million. The Group has revised its full-year forecast following the sale of its Northern European operations, expecting consolidated revenue to rise in the low to mid-single-digit range and operating EBIT to remain at 2024 levels amid ongoing global market volatility, trade tensions, and uncertainty regarding US tariffs.
