Villeroy & Boch Maintains Stability in FY2025 with Revenue Growth Despite Challenging Market Conditions

Germany: Villeroy & Boch reported a resilient performance in 2025, with revenue rising 1.8% to EUR 1,447 million and operating EBIT reaching EUR 97.8 million despite weak construction activity and subdued consumer spending. The Bathroom & Wellness division grew 2.3% to EUR 1,124.5 million (3.4% currency-adjusted), supported by acquisitions including Ideal Standard, while maintaining EBIT at EUR 65.2 million, with strong gains in taps, shower systems, and sanitary ceramics. The Dining & Lifestyle segment recorded stable growth of 1.0% to EUR 319.8 million and improved EBIT to EUR 32.6 million, driven by a strong fourth quarter and retail partner growth of 9.4%. The Group invested EUR 45.8 million in 2025 and proposed dividends of EUR 0.80 per ordinary share and EUR 0.85 per preference share, while forecasting a mid- to high-single-digit sales decline and EBIT of EUR 75– EUR 85 million for 2026, impacted by geopolitical tensions, portfolio changes, and ongoing integration and transformation initiatives including SAP S/4HANA implementation.
