GERMANY: Villeroy & Boch reported first-half 2026 revenue of approximately US$744 million, down 12.4% year-on-year from US$849 million, reflecting portfolio changes and geopolitical challenges. Adjusted for divestments and currency effects, revenue declined 7.4%, while the order backlog increased. Operating EBIT fell to around US$40.4 million from US$55.9 million, and the company recorded a net loss of approximately US$8.0 million, mainly due to one-off tax effects. The Bath & Wellness division remained under pressure, whereas Dining & Lifestyle delivered stable sales and 16.1% e-commerce growth. Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, Villeroy & Boch reaffirmed its full-year 2026 operating EBIT guidance of approximately US$87.8 million.
