Indian Ceramic Manufacturers Explore Business Opportunities in Argentina
India: A delegation of Indian ceramic manufacturers and exporters participated in a business event in Buenos Aires on 20 October 2026 to explore trade and cooperation opportunities with Argentine companies. The event brought together Indian manufacturers, importers, distributors and local business representatives. Activities included business-to-business meetings and product presentations covering porcelain tiles, floor and wall coverings, and large-format slabs. The initiative reflects efforts to diversify trade between India and Argentina. According to the Indian Embassy in Buenos Aires, India was Argentina's fifth-largest trading partner in 2025, with bilateral trade exceeding USD 6.91 billion. The event took place at the Marriott Buenos Aires Downtown Hotel as part of broader efforts to expand commercial relations between the two countries. Their bilateral Strategic Partnership, established in 2019, provides a framework for cooperation across multiple sectors, including opportunities for trade and investment.
