Megius Completes Acquisition of Albatros Brand
Italy: Italian company Megius has completed its acquisition of the Albatros brand, which operates in whirlpool baths, mini-pools and wellness systems. Megius operates in the shower, sauna and hammam segments. The transaction forms part of Megius's development strategy and combines its shower product portfolio with Albatros's activities in home wellness and hospitality. The integration is intended to expand the range of bathroom and wellness solutions offered across distribution channels and project markets.
Commenting on the transaction, Megius Group President Davide Venturato said, "After 15 months of forced leasing, the interim phase has been successfully completed as planned, allowing the company to restart according to the most appropriate industrial standards. Now we can step on the gas and restore the Albatros brand to the forefront, with logically positive consequences for the entire Megius Group." The acquisition is intended to establish a combined industrial and commercial platform serving the shower, bathroom wellness and hospitality sectors.
