United Kingdom: Yorkshire-based acrylic bath manufacturer Trojan Baths has expanded its gel coat shower tray division, Traymate, following its relocation to Huddersfield in May 2023. Traymate, previously located in Essex, was acquired by Trojan's parent company, Hartford Holdings Group Ltd, in 2021 for 3.16 million USD. The move aimed to consolidate operations and leverage Trojan’s extensive manufacturing capabilities. The new site, a 46,000 sq ft facility on a 3-acre plot, has created 26 new jobs and involves an 832000 USD approximately investment program that began in January 2024. Investments include new moulds, spray booths, and casting machines to enhance quality and output. Managing Director David Mosley said, “The move to the new site has not been without its challenges but the investment into new equipment and staff mark an exciting new chapter for Traymate as we set out to significantly improve our capacity on shower tray production as well as further improve our quality standards.”
