The European Union Authorises the Acquisition of Purmo Group

Purmo Group gets acquired by Apollo managed Funds

Finland/USA: The acquisition of sole control of Purmo Group of Finland by Apollo Global Management of the United States has been approved by the European Commission.

The transaction mainly pertains to the domestic climate comfort solutions sector.

As of August 2024, Apollo, through a special purpose vehicle named Project Grand Bidco, completed the acquisition of a 94.53% stake in Purmo Group. Purmo Group is expected to be delisted from the Helsinki Stock Exchange after the acquisition.
