Swegon Acquires Dutch Indoor Climate Leader HC Groep

Netherlands: Swegon, a supplier in the field of indoor environment, offering solutions for ventilation, heating, cooling and climate optimisation has re-entered the Netherlands market by acquiring HC Groep, present in indoor climate technology (Air handling, Air distribution and cooling and heating production) with a strong presence in the Dutch market. Since 2020, HC Groep has been owned by Gilde Equity Management (GEM).

The company offers a high-end product range under 10 business labels, encompassing all aspects of a building's indoor climate systems, including building automation. HC Groep will continue to operate in the Dutch market under its own name and current leadership.

Founded in 1995, HC Groep employs 386 people and has its head office and production facilities in Waalwijk, Netherlands. The company's net sales in 2023 amounted to EUR 106.4 million (USD 114 million).
