Asia Pacific: The Asia-Pacific construction sector is facing growing execution risks as supply chain disruptions, labour shortages, and power constraints threaten project delivery despite strong market demand, according to Linesight's latest regional outlook. Escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have pushed global supply chain pressures to their highest level since 2022, increasing construction costs and procurement timelines. India is expected to remain the region's fastest-growing construction market, with output forecast to expand 6.4% in 2026, supported by a robust infrastructure and data centre pipeline. However, skilled labour shortages, limited contractor capacity, and rising material costs continue to pose significant risks to timely project delivery across the region.
