Strong Domestic Water Heater Demand Boosts Noritz’s First-Half FY2026 Results

JAPAN: Noritz Corporation reported stronger first-half FY2026 results, driven by robust domestic demand for hybrid and high-efficiency water heaters and improved kitchen product sales. Domestic sales rose to approximately US$437 million, while operating profit nearly doubled to around US$8.2 million. Growth in residential and non-residential water heating and air-conditioning markets offset weaker overseas performance. In China, sales fell sharply to approximately US$75 million, resulting in an operating loss. Meanwhile, North America returned to profitability and Australia benefited from rising demand for electrification products. A US$29 million gain from investment securities also significantly boosted net profit.
