Stiebel Eltron Expands Training Centre in UK

UK: Stiebel Eltron UK has expanded its training centre at its Wirral headquarters, doubling its capacity to accommodate up to 32 installers at a time. The company has transformed a 20000 sq. ft unit acquired last year into a hands-on training facility, offering practical experience with heat pump and ventilation technologies. To oversee training operations, Stiebel Eltron has appointed Shaun Walsh as Training Manager.  

Stiebel Eltron trained over 600 installers in 2024, aligning with the Government's target of 600000 annual heat pump installations by 2028. The number of qualified technicians must increase to 27000 to meet this goal. The latest data from the Heat Pump Association shows a rise in qualified installers from 3000 in 2022 to more than 9000 in 2024, but further growth is needed.
