Sorento Capital Bhd Reports Strong Q1 FY25 Results

Malaysia: Sorento Capital Bhd (SCB) reported revenue of RM 45 million (approximately USD 10 million) and a profit before tax (PBT) of RM 7.3 million (USD 1.6 million) in its first quarter of FY25, with net profit standing at RM 5 million (USD 1.1 million). Adjusted for non-recurring IPO expenses of RM 2.1 million (USD 4.7 million), the company’s PBT and net profit margins were 20.9% and 15.8%, respectively. Following its ACE market listing on Bursa Malaysia, SCB aims to expand its market share in Malaysia's bathroom and kitchen sanitary ware sector by increasing its dealer network from 664 to approximately 864 over the next three years.
