PrimeSource Brands Acquires JACLO to Expand Decorative Plumbing Portfolio
United States: PrimeSource Brands, a portfolio company of Clearlake Capital Group, has acquired Durst Corporation, which operates as JACLO Industries, through its Dimora Brands platform. The transaction marks PrimeSource Brands' 12th acquisition since its partnership with Clearlake in December 2020. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1901 and headquartered in Cranford, New Jersey, JACLO manufactures and distributes decorative bathroom fixtures and functional plumbing products. Its JACLO brand includes shower systems, faucets, bathroom accessories, grab bars and specialty drains, while its Durst brand supplies valves, fittings, flow-control products, drainage systems and water supply and heating components. The company's products serve plumbing showrooms, wholesalers, contractors and home improvement retailers.
Following the acquisition, JACLO and Durst will become part of Dimora Brands, whose existing portfolio includes Top Knobs, Hardware Resources, Atlas Homewares, Watermark Designs and Water Street Brass. The addition expands Dimora's presence in bathroom fixtures, decorative accessories and plumbing components. PrimeSource Brands operates a distribution network covering more than 56,000 customer locations through 64 sites across 26 states and two countries. The acquisition forms part of its strategy of expanding its specialty building products portfolio through businesses with complementary products and distribution networks.
