Alca, a Czech manufacturer of support frames, piping systems, shower channels and siphons, is expanding into the French market as part of its broader European growth strategy. The company is targeting the mid- to high-end segment and is leveraging its modern production capabilities and focus on product quality and innovation.

According to Radka Prokopová, CEO and co-owner of Alca, France represents one of the largest markets in Europe and is therefore a key expansion opportunity. Germany, where Alca is already well established, currently contributes around 15% of the company’s turnover, with the project segment showing continued progress. The UK is also considered an attractive market for further expansion.

Alca sees innovation, supply-chain responsiveness and a broad product portfolio as important competitive factors for European manufacturers facing increasing cost pressure from Chinese producers. Rather than competing primarily on price, the company is focusing on developing technical solutions and differentiated products supported by its R&D capabilities. According to Prokopová, continued investment in technology will be essential for European manufacturers to remain competitive in the long term.
