Presidential Expands Services with Shipley Acquisition

USA: United States-based Presidential Heating & Air Conditioning has acquired Shipley Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, expanding its service offering to include plumbing alongside heating and cooling. Shipley provides services such as drain clearing, water heater repair and replacement, fixture installation, and heating and air conditioning work for residential customers in Montgomery County, Maryland. Presidential, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Gaithersburg, operates in the same region as well as in Washington, D.C. and nearby areas.

The acquisition integrates plumbing services into Presidential’s operations and brings together two businesses serving overlapping markets. Presidential is part of Southern Home Services, a residential services platform backed by Gryphon Investors. The transaction is expected to broaden service capabilities for customers in the region while maintaining existing operations under the combined structure.
