Panasonic Launches New Distribution Hub in Germany to Enhance HVAC Logistics

Germany: The Panasonic Opens Central Distribution Centre in Germany to Strengthen HVAC Supply Chain with the launch of a new 12,000-square-metre logistics facility in Ladbergen, North Rhine-Westphalia, to store and distribute heat pumps, air conditioning and ventilation products across the German market. The site serves as a central hub within Panasonic’s European logistics network, consolidating products from European and Asian manufacturing locations while managing goods receipt, storage, dispatch and customer-specific order picking. The facility features space-efficient shelving, specialized heat pump handling equipment and, for the first time at a Panasonic logistics site, automated scan-based weighing and measurement technology to streamline transport processes. Goods reception is scheduled to begin in June 2026, followed by outbound shipments in July 2026, with Panasonic expecting shorter transport routes, improved product availability and lower CO₂ emissions in Germany.
