New Scroll Compressor Line Unveiled by LG in Mexico

At its plant in Monterrey, Mexico, LG Electronics (LG) has inaugurated a new scroll compressor production line. With the addition of this new line, LG's scroll compressor production infrastructure is strengthened and it can manufacture more, shortening its supply chain and better serving customers in North America. At a time when increasing logistical delays are posing problems for many US HVAC manufacturers, LG has decided to set up a production line in Mexico. Kim Yang-sun, head of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company's component solution business unit, stated that LG will be able to strengthen its services in the North American market thanks to the company's new, cutting-edge production line in Mexico.
