Germany: Malaysian home goods retailer Mr. DIY is preparing to extend its European presence further west, with plans to enter Germany. The company, which has already established operations in Spain and expanded into Poland, is now exploring opportunities to open in Berlin by 2026.
According to Mr. DIY Malaysia’s chief operating officer, Leo Gan, the move into Germany forms part of the retailer’s wider European strategy. Berlin has been identified as a potential entry point into the German market, building on the company’s earlier growth in southern and central Europe.
