MasterBrand Plans to Acquire Supreme Cabinetry Brands

USA: MasterBrand, Inc., through its subsidiary MasterBrand Cabinets, LLC, has agreed to buy Supreme Cabinetry Brands, Inc., a well-known cabinetry firm, from GHK Capital Partners LP for $520 million in cash. MasterBrand's acquisition of Supreme will allow it to reach more consumers through an expanded dealer network, with greater efficiency and effectiveness, enabling considerable value creation and increased potential for a better customer and consumer experience. The deal expands MasterBrand's inventory of premium cabinets in the durable and appealing kitchen and bath areas. MasterBrand will have a highly complementary and diverse channel distribution network, as well as a strategically positioned facility footprint with the capacity to enable development in any market environment.
