Malaysian Government Allocates RM8.12 million (US$1.71 Million) for 20 Renovation Projects
MALAYSIA: The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) has announced a RM8.12 million (US$1.71 million) funding for the implementation of 20 in Perlis. Minister Nga Kor Ming stated that the projects included replacing six lifts at the Seri Sena People's Housing Project (PPR), which cost $624000, and five housing maintenance programmes, which cost $358,000. A total of RM1.38 million would be channeled to the Kangar Municipal Council for the year 2024 to upgrade streetlights, public toilets and markets and RM1.5 million for the study of Perlis Structure Plan 2040 initiative.
