South Korea: South Korean tech giant LG Electronics announced preliminary full-year 2025 results, recording consolidated revenue of USD 61.6 billion and operating profit of USD 1.7 billion, marking its second consecutive year of record sales. “Qualitative growth” businesses including B2B, webOS, product-based services and direct-to-consumer models now contribute nearly half of total revenue, while home appliance and vehicle solutions both posted record revenue and vehicle solutions achieved record profitability. Display-based businesses reported an operating loss even as the webOS platform grew double-digit on a global installed base of about 260 million devices, and the HVAC segment continued strengthening. For the fourth quarter, LG reported revenue of USD 16.5 billion with an operating loss of USD 75.4 million as demand headwinds weighed on profitability.
