LG Electronics Plans Third Manufacturing Facility in India

India: LG Electronics is preparing to establish its third manufacturing facility in India, marking its first expansion in the country since opening its Pune plant in 2006. The new facility aims to address the increasing demand for home appliances in the Indian market. While the exact location and timeline for construction are yet to be finalised, this initiative reflects LG's efforts to bolster its presence in India's rapidly expanding consumer market. 

LG has been operating in India since 1997, starting with its first plant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, followed by the Pune facility in Maharashtra. The company continues to explore avenues to enhance its production capabilities in the region.
