South Korea: LG Electronics is strengthening its HVAC business presence in Asia by opening new HVAC academies in Taiwan and Singapore to enhance training and technical support for local business-to-business (B2B) customers and engineers.

The company recently inaugurated HVAC academies in Taichung, Taiwan, and Singapore to expand its air solutions business in rapidly urbanizing markets with rising demand for industrial infrastructure. The new facilities are designed to provide localized support across the entire HVAC lifecycle, from system installation to maintenance.

LG Electronics currently operates around 70 HVAC academies across more than 40 countries, spanning Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Africa. Collectively, these training centers educate over 30,000 air solutions engineers annually.

The academies offer training on the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC systems, high-efficiency chillers, and liquid cooling solutions, including coolant distribution units (CDUs). They also provide engineering courses focused on HVAC system design.
