Leroy Merlin Russia to Operate as Lemana Pro Starting 2025
Russia: Leroy Merlin in Russia will be rebranded as Lemana Pro, with the operating company renamed Le Monlid. This change, reported by Russian and international media including Tass and Reuters, will start at the end of 2024 and conclude in 2025. According to a company statement, there will be no organizational changes; all stores, dark stores, and warehouses will continue operations as before. Deputy General Director Marina Fyotova stated that Lemana Pro aims to remain the DIY market leader in Russia and become the top building materials trader under the new brand.
The new name Lemana Pro combines elements from the words Leader, Maison (French for house), and Nature, with Pro highlighting a focus on professional customers. The Russian operating company Leroy Merlin Vostock had already changed its name to Le Monlid in March. Scenari Holding, based in the United Arab Emirates, owns the company following Adeo Group's sale of the Russian subsidiary in December 2023. Despite these changes, Laurent Desfassiaux remains listed as the managing director of Le Monlid and continues to serve as CEO of Leroy Merlin Russia according to LinkedIn.
