Lennox Expands Global Capability Centre in Chennai with USD 6 Million Investment
India: Lennox has announced an investment of USD 6 million (USD 6 million) to expand its Global Capability Centre in Chennai, India. The expansion will increase the facility's size to 150,000 sq ft and grow its workforce from 900 to 1,500 employees. The investment is aimed at strengthening global operations by leveraging Chennai’s workforce and business environment. The expanded facility will include upgraded amenities designed to support innovation and employee well-being.
The Chennai centre, established in 2010, has become a key strategic hub for the company. Initially focused on IT and Engineering, it has expanded its scope to include Finance, Marketing Communications, HR, Legal, Customer Experience, and Sourcing. The latest investment brings the company’s total commitment to India to USD 14 million over the past 15 years. The company sees Chennai as an important base for its global operations, aligning with its strategy to advance technology and deliver HVACR solutions.
