Korean Firms Aim to Establish Local Green Technology Production in Uzbekistan

UZBEKISTAN: Korean enterprises are striving to establish local manufacture of environmentally friendly technologies in Uzbekistan. As part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, Uzbekistan's Ministry of Economy and Finance held a meeting with Korean enterprises. A proposal was deliberated upon to execute a project that would introduce contemporary heat pumps in various social establishments in Uzbekistan, including hospitals, greenhouses, and multi-story residential and non-residential structures. This project, which could be the first of its kind in Uzbekistan, is also exploring the possibility of a pilot project in Urgench, situated in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan.
