Jordan Issues Tender to Improve Energy Efficiency in Nine Public Hospitals in Northern Region

Jordan: The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has announced a new tender for the design, supply, installation, connection, operation, and maintenance of renewable energy systems aimed at improving energy efficiency in nine public hospitals in Jordan’s northern region through solar thermal water heating (STWH). Interested contractors are invited to obtain tender documents from the ministry’s tenders department or electronically via its website between October 26 and October 30. The deadline for receiving inquiries is set for November 2, while bid submissions are due on November 6. Each bid must include an entry bond worth JD12,500 (17,625 USD), valid for 120 days from the closing date, and be submitted in three sealed envelopes technical, financial, and bid bond—placed inside a fourth envelope bearing bidder details. The price of each tender copy is JD200 (282 USD).
