Iraq to Build 52 Residential Cities
IRAQ: According to officials, the Iraqi government has authorised the development of fifty-two new residential communities throughout the nation as a post-conflict strategy to address an ongoing housing crisis. They stated that the Construction and Housing Ministry has awarded contracts for a portion of the twenty completed designs for those projects. “There are plans to build 52 new cities across Iraq. We have completed the designs for 20 of these cities,” the Ministry’s spokesman Istabraq Sabah told the Iraqi News Agency.
