Iran Exports 40% of its Tile and Ceramic Production to Over 50 Countries
IRAN: Iranian tile and ceramic manufacturers are actively exporting 40% of their output to over 50 countries, according to Behnam Aziz-Zadeh, director of the Iranian Tile and Ceramics Manufacturers Union. Speaking at the 29th Iran International Exhibition of Tiles, Ceramics, and Sanitary Porcelain, Aziz-Zadeh noted that Iran exports around 200 million square meters of tiles and ceramics each year. As the world's fifth-largest producer and exporter, Iran holds a prominent position in the global ceramics market, supported by more than 150 factories nationwide that provide.
The Union’s strong focus on exports reflects the rising global demand for Iranian products, underscoring the quality and craftsmanship associated with Iranian ceramics. With an emphasis on expanding into diverse markets, Iranian producers are set to continue leveraging global opportunities. The industry’s ongoing success highlights the role of innovation and adherence to international standards, enabling Iran to maintain its status among the world’s top tile and ceramics producers.
