IKEA Opens Second Delhi City-Format Store to Strengthen Presence in Northern India

India: IKEA is strengthening its presence in northern India with the opening of its second city-format store in Delhi at DLF Avenue, Saket, on 30 July, spanning 30,000 sq ft, marking its fourth city-format store in India after Mumbai, Pune and West Delhi. The outlet will offer nearly 3,000 products, with around 1,400 available for immediate takeaway and access to a catalogue of more than 6,900 products, while home delivery starts at approximately USD 0.57 (INR 49) and product warranties range from 5 to 25 years. IKEA reiterated its ambition to operate 30 stores by 2030, confirmed that its Gurugram (2027) and Noida (2028) flagship projects remain on schedule, and noted that around 30% of products sold in India are locally sourced, with exports of approximately USD 2.34 billion (EUR 2 billion) annually to IKEA stores worldwide.
