Ideal Heating To Start Electric Heat Pump Production In Hull

UK: To keep up with what Ideal Heating regards as the biggest change since the 1930s changeover from coal to gas appliances, the company has begun producing electric heat pumps. The manufacturing facilities at Ideal Heating's Hull headquarters, where fossil fuel boilers have been produced for more than a century, have undergone a £50 million transformation.

In addition to producing roughly 500,000 gas boilers annually, the business will start producing thousands of heat pumps and invest in a "state-of-the-art" facility to teach up to 5,000 staff members annually to install and maintain them. The boilermaker projects that the factory's new manufacturing line will be able to produce up to 60,000 heat pumps annually, with the potential for an increase as the anticipated demand for heat pumps rises in the ensuing decades.
