UK: The Heat Pump Association (HPA) has introduced new Annual Service Checklists for Air, Ground, and Water-to-Water Heat Pumps, developed by its Technical Working Group. These checklists outline the recommended minimum service checks for heat pump systems, offering valuable guidance for industry professionals.

Designed for use when manufacturer-specific service and maintenance instructions are unavailable, the HPA checklists serve as a helpful reference to assess the performance and longevity of air-to-water, ground, and water source heat pumps. While not intended to replace manufacturer guidelines, they promote consistent and reliable service practices across the sector.

This initiative supports the HPA’s broader efforts to strengthen the heat pump industry as it scales to meet growing demand for low-carbon heating solutions. Given the crucial role of heat pumps in the transition to net zero, maintaining them to the highest standards is key to ensuring optimal efficiency, performance, and reliability.
