Japan: Hitachi, Ltd. announced on September 25th, 2025, the launch of a global Hitachi AI Factory, built on NVIDIA’s AI Factory reference architecture, to accelerate the development of physical AI solutions across Mobility, Energy, Industrial, and Technology sectors. Leveraging Hitachi iQ with NVIDIA HGX B200 systems, RTX PRO 6000 Server Edition GPUs, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking, the factory provides a unified AI computing infrastructure for simulation, digital twins, and AI workflows using NVIDIA AI Enterprise and Omniverse libraries. Strategically distributed across the US, EMEA, and Japan, it enables seamless collaboration and low-latency access to powerful computing resources. The initiative supports Hitachi’s Lumada 3.0 vision, enhancing efficiency, productivity, and safety through solutions like Hitachi Rail’s HMAX, AI-powered Vantara portfolio, and liquid-cooled AI data centres, while NVIDIA’s accelerated computing underpins rapid physical and enterprise AI deployment.
