UK: Baxi, part of the BDR Thermea Group, has appointed Jason Baldock as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, effective 1 October. Baldock, who previously served as Managing Director of Alstom’s UK and Ireland Digital and Integrated Systems division, brings 29 years of experience in commercial and project delivery roles. At Alstom, he oversaw several major contract wins in the rail sector, including securing the largest share of Network Rail’s Major Signalling Framework Agreement.
Baldock succeeds Jan Rijnen, who has relocated to lead BDR Thermea’s Remeha operations across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Rijnen will continue overseeing Baxi UK and Ireland until Baldock officially assumes the position. Both executives will report to BDR Group CEO Tjarko Bouman. Rijnen stated that Baldock’s experience in upgrading complex systems aligns with Baxi’s focus on helping organisations transition to sustainable heating solutions.
