Haier and Masterwatt Partner for Dutch Heating Market

Netherlands: Haier HVAC Solutions Europe and Masterwatt have entered into a strategic partnership to expand the distribution of heating technologies in the Netherlands. The collaboration will initially focus on Haier’s air-to-water heat pumps and heat pump water heaters for residential and commercial applications. The partnership combines Haier’s manufacturing and technology capabilities with Masterwatt’s distribution network, installer relationships, technical support services, and experience in the Dutch electric heating market.
The companies stated that the partnership aims to support the adoption of heating systems intended to replace fossil-fuel-based solutions in the Netherlands. Haier’s product range includes R290-based air-to-water heat pumps available in capacities from 4 kW to 16 kW, as well as M7 and M8 heat pump water heaters with storage capacities ranging from 80 to 250 litres. Masterwatt will support the rollout of these technologies through its wholesaler network, service department, and training programmes, while both companies aim to strengthen their position in the Dutch heating market and support the transition towards lower-carbon building systems.
