Gaurs Group Plans US$ 27.3 million Investment in Precast Construction Facility in Noida

INDIA: Gaurs Group has announced plans to invest US$ 27.3 million (₹2500 million) in establishing a precast manufacturing and modular construction facility in Noida. The investment follows a memorandum of understanding with Elematic India, part of Finland-based Elematic Group.
In the first phase, around US$ 10.9 million (₹1000 million) will be used to build a precast plant that will produce structural components such as slabs, beams, columns and walls, with operations expected to begin within six months. The developer has also placed a US$ 16.37 million (₹1500 million) advance order with Jindal Elematic for 45,000 modular bathrooms and 10,000 kitchen pods for ongoing housing projects. The initiative aims to adopt technology-driven construction methods that could reduce project timelines by about 30% while improving efficiency in large residential developments.
