The 14 distribution chains included in the statistics generated a combined sales volume of USD 25.8 billion. The Adeo Group, with brands like Leroy Merlin, Weldom, and Bricoman, accounted for 48% of the market, while the British Kingfisher Group, with Castorama and Brico Dépôt, held 24.7%. Despite the decline, the e-commerce sector saw a slight increase, contributing 5.3% of total turnover. Of the eleven product groups surveyed, only four showed growth, with paints and adhesives seeing the highest increase at 2.3%.
