USA: Ferguson has agreed to acquire industrial distributor FloWorks from Wynnchurch Capital in a cash transaction valued at approximately US$1.6 billion, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approval. The acquisition will strengthen Ferguson’s position in industrial flow control by adding expertise in valves, valve automation and repair services, while increasing exposure to high-growth sectors including data centres, semiconductors, power generation and pharmaceuticals. FloWorks generated around US$1 billion in revenue in 2025 and operates more than 60 locations across the US and Canada. Ferguson expects the acquisition to deliver revenue and cost synergies, expand its non-residential capabilities and increase its total addressable market from US$340 billion to US$400 billion.
