EPACK Durable Begins Construction of Manufacturing Plant in India
IN: EPACK Durable Limited (EDL) has begun construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, further strengthening its strategic alliance with Hisense, a global leader in electronics and home appliances.
The facility, spanning 9 acres, represents an investment of ₹191 crore (USD 23 million) and is set to begin production by June 2025. Currently, EDL produces 1.3 million air conditioners, 0.4 million washing machines, and 0.7 million small home appliances annually. With the new facility, air conditioner production capacity will exceed 2 million units, while other appliance production capacities will continue to perfoMYR strongly.
