France: The French Delabie Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of KWC Professional – formerly Franke Water Systems – along with its subsidiaries, with the transaction expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025. This strategic merger aims to enhance their combined presence in the European market for sanitary solutions in public and commercial buildings, bringing together complementary product portfolios, technological capabilities, and geographic strengths. The combined group will have a growing footprint in key markets such as Germany and the UK.
KWC Professional contributes several well-known brands to the group, including KWC, Aquarotter, DVS (formerly Dart Valley Systems), and Sissons, thereby reinforcing the group's reach in key segments. The acquisition will also allow Delabie to expand its range of sanitary fittings and target new customer groups. Delabie further benefits from KWC Professional’s 2024 acquisition of Newcastle Joinery Ltd. (NJL), a UK-based expert in sanitary solutions for correctional facilities. Following the deal, around 70% of Delabie’s total sales will be generated outside France, as the two companies pursue a shared vision of building an integrated and resilient European group offering innovative and sustainable solutions.
