Daikin Opens New Sustainable Home Centre in Manchester
UK: Daikin is set to open its 12th Sustainable Home Centre of 2024 in Manchester, located in the new Swinton branch of James Hargreaves. This launch further strengthens Daikin’s collaboration with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority in alignment with its pioneering Five-Year Environment Plan, which prioritises swift action toward achieving net-zero emissions. This centre is the second joint venture between Daikin and James Hargreaves, following the success of their initial Sustainable Home Centre opening in Burnley earlier this year.
As the UK continues its shift away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy, the Manchester centre aims to inform homeowners about the advantages of sustainable, low-carbon heating systems. The new centre also serves as a training hub, equipping local installers with the skills necessary for clean energy installations.
