USA: Daikin Applied has announced a majority investment in Varitec Solutions, a Phoenix-based company specialising in the design, development, and installation of large-scale, energy-efficient HVAC systems for commercial buildings. This investment strengthens the collaboration between the two companies, combining Varitec’s expertise in providing innovative HVAC solutions with Daikin's industry leadership. The partnership aims to offer comprehensive HVAC technology and services to meet evolving energy efficiency needs.
With HVAC systems being a major contributor to energy use in North America, this move will support customers in optimizing building systems, reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring sustainable comfort. Varitec, with over 170 employees, operates in Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, El Paso, and surrounding regions. The team will now be joined by 30 regional service technicians from Daikin Applied, providing an expanded range of HVAC services, including engineering, equipment selection, controls integration, and maintenance. This collaboration aims to deliver enhanced services to meet customer energy and sustainability targets.
