Daikin and GXO Announce Opening of New Midlands Warehouse

UK: Daikin has announced the opening and start of outward deliveries from its new Midlands warehouse in Daventry, in collaboration with logistics partner GXO, the world's largest pure-play contract logistics company. Located in the heart of the UK logistics 'golden triangle' in the Midlands, Daikin and GXO, one of the UK and Ireland's top logistics and transportation partners, have invested over £4 million to combine their activities into a single site.

The move creates a future-ready 240,000-square-foot warehouse that will exclusively serve Daikin in the United Kingdom for all products and spares. The whole move from the current operation to the new warehouse will take place this year, creating more than 75 new jobs in the local community.
